Development
Head and sole domestic developer, translating early concepts and rough CADs into fully realized garments across menswears, womenswear, knits, wovens, and denim.
As Gold Vintage's first domestic developer, I was tasked with matching the speed of overseas development while producing highly detailed garments with minimal references or technical direction. From specialised washes and treatments, to complex outerwear, the expectation was often to translate an early concept into an approval ready first sample.
I built an intuitive development process around the brand, understanding their fit, aesthetic, and development pace while identifying the vendors best suited to each technique, timeline, and cost barrier. Over time, I became able to anticipate their needs, make informed recommendations, and turn loosely defined concepts into fully realized samples.
